Amelia Boo Stories

Amelia Boo Stories runs pre-school interactive story and Drama sessions for 0 to 5 year olds

The idea of the group is to encourage a love of books and literature from a young age, introducing new stories and presenting them in a way accessible to all. Our classes bring stories to life using songs, bubbles, puppets, and fun.

'It's a theatrical experience for children' offering the opportunity to fully engage in the story no matter what their age.'

In addition to our regular classes, events and parties, we also offer Amelia Boo Sessions/ Workshops for private nurseries,    pre-schools, and schools.

Amelia Boo classes and Storytelling events currently run in locations across London.

Amelia Boo Stories was created in 2012 by Rebecca Merry who has extensive experience of working therapeutically with children.

Rebecca trained at Mountview Theatre school where she developed a love of storytelling and movement. After her training, Rebecca set up Drama groups for children with special needs and witnessed the profound effects Drama/ Movement and storytelling can have.

She then trained at Central School of Speech and Drama and went on to work in educational settings as a Dramatherapist.

Amelia Boo Stories came about whilst on maternity with her second child and Rebecca was looking for groups that would engaged both her children in one class. Rebecca then began devising a group that would allow children to fully access the session, whatever their developmental stage but to do this it had to be fun for the whole family.
